Dos Pueblos softball players Krista Martony and Kiersty Briner have found considerable success this summer with their traveling club team, the Cal Stars Coast 16U.
The team recently won four consecutive games on the final day of the 27th annual Junior Olympics Tournament in Las Vegas, which features teams from around the country, to finish second.
The Cal Stars Coast, which is based in Santa Maria, will now advance to the American Softball Association Nationals to be held in South Dakota in late July.
