Stormy weather halted play at the CIF Southern California Golf Championships Wednesday at the SCGA Golf Course in Murrieta. Jack Perry of Santa Barbara High and Niall Platt of Laguna Blanca were scheduled to compete in the event, which will resume at 9 a.m. Thursday. Heavy thunder and lightning were reported at the venue, causing the postponement.
