Cascade Zak and Tori Thompson led the way for the Rams on Saturday, helping Cate earn an automatic berth into the CIF girls lacrosse finals by winning a four-team mini-tournament held at Cate.
The Rams defeated La Canada 15-4 before topping Redondo 18-6. Redondo had beaten Thacher 8-4 in its first game.
Zak tallied 11 goals in the two games and Thompson nine with five assists. Hilary Williamson added four goals and an assist.
The Rams will travel to Mira Costa on Friday to play for a CIF title.
