Cate breezed past Laguna Blanca Saturday in a Condor League mis-match, breezing past the Owls 16-2.
Troy Ritter and Max Hong picked up the only two set wins for the Owls, while Cate coach Bob Bonning highlighted the play of Gregory Mak (3-0 at No. 3 singles ) and the Rams’ freshman duo of Austin Lokre and Grant Redmond.
Laguna finishes its season at 3-7, while the Rams are now 10-3 and will face Pasadena Poly and Thacher before playoffs begin.
