Santa Barbara High had five swimmers qualify for CIF in Tuesday’s Channel League prelims at San Marcos High.
Lolo Blair took first place and qualified in both the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, while Lindsay Parrish did so in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
Samantha King made the finals and qualified in the 500 and 100 free, and Camille Wissman was fifth with a qualification time in the 500 free. Amanda Wilson was fifth in the 200 IM and also made it through to CIF.
San Marcos’ Jade Fitzgerald swam two CIF consideration times and is seeded top four in both the Girls 100 and 50 freestyle events. Senior Parinda Sukavivatanachai qualified for the consulation finals in the 200 and 500 freestyle events.
Six other Royals also qualified for second swims at the Channel Leauge finals on Friday. We qualified more girls for championship and consulation finals this year than any year in the past five.
