Early season slump takes Vaqueros out of playoffs

Sophomores Corey Krupp and Blake McFarland were first-team All-WSC North selections. Krupp, who plays center field, was a unanimous choice after hitting .347 in conference with two homers, 15 RBIs and 22 stolen bases. He set a new single-season school record with 34 steals in 37 attempts.
