Sophomore Hilary Williamson tallied four goals on Wednesday, helping the Cate girls lacrosse team complete an undefeated Condor League season by turning away Thacher 17-12.
Senior Cascade Zak matched Williamson with four goals herself and Shelby DeGroot recorded the hat trick.
Assistant coach Linda Sommers highlighted the defensive effort from tri-captain Marlowe Lyddon, Frances Roche and Evelyn Weis.
The Rams’ next match is even bigger, being that a CIF title goes to the winner. Cate faces Los Alamitos at Mira Costa High School on Friday. The two teams have already faced each other twice this season with each side claiming a slim victory.
