The Carpinteria girls softball team snapped a three-game losing streak by holding on to capture a 4-2 non-league decision at Santa Paula.
Nicole Pearce and Coco Crowfoot combined their pitching efforts to hold off Santa Paula. Pearce helped herself out at the plate, connecting for a two-run home run in the fifth inning.
Pearce ended up 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs.
The Warriors return to league play on Tuesday with a rivalry game against Bishop Diego.
