The Carpinteria girls track & field team leapt its way to a Tri-Valley League victory on Wednesday, beating out St. Bonaventure while the boys finished second to the Seraphs.
Caitlin Wallace won both the high jump and triple jump events and Katie Buchmiller took the pole vault. Shelby Dunlap placed in a variety of events, including a second in the 300 hurdles and second in the 100 meter sprint.
Justin Alvarado swept the 100 and 300 hurdles for the boys and Travis Madden was the other boys winner in the 1600.
The La Reina girls team also competed at the meet, defeating the Warriors 87-45.
