Parinda Sukavivatanachai won the girls 500 free in a time of 5 minutes and 50.06 seconds. Sophomore Zoe Kirker’s 5:55.00 bested her PR by five seconds, good for second, and Rose Koper placed third. The Royals outscored the Scorpions 13-3 in just that one event.

After recording personal bests in all his events on Wednesday, Flores shaved off another two seconds from his 100-butterfly mark, this time earning first place with a time of 1:04. 26. Kristian Sloan swam to two personal bests in the 200 free and 100 butterfly, continuing the signs of improvement on the boys side.
Roth noted a strong swim from Emilia Wakamatsu in the 100 butterfly, clocking in at 1:08.00 and in second place.
Next chance for more personal bests comes in a Channel League matchup on Tuesday at Santa Barbara.
