Cate’s doubles teams of Wyatt Geiger-Gregory Mak and Rohit Goswamy-Mark Mullan swept through six sets for the Rams tennis team on Saturday on the way to a 14-4 Condor League victory over Thacher.
“They both had pretty dominant three-set sweeps,” said Bob Bonning, whose team improves to 3-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play.
Cate’s No. 1 singles player Max Sabel won his two sets 6-3, 6-1 before giving way to Cam Seo. Bonning used his fifth lineup in as many matches and got all 11 players on the court on Saturday.
Blake Mackall and Geoffrey Mak also recorded two wins in singles and doubles player Austin Lokre won a set with two different partners, Vivan Som and Connor Lemos.
Cate plays again on Wednesday hosting Laguna Blanca.
