Senior back-row specialist Daniel Huthsing got to play up front and tallied his first-ever varsity kill on Wednesday as the Dos Pueblos boys volleyball team cruised past host Ventura 25-17, 25-19, 25-12.
Brian Schoneberger had four kills with two digs, two aces and three blocks for the Chargers, who are now 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Channel League, not including tournament matches.
Middle blocker Cody Zoesch put away eight kills on 10 swings while Evan “Indiana” Hamilton had four kills on just five swings to go along with a block.
The Chargers invade the Thunderhut Thursday for what should be a spirited rivalry matchup against San Marcos.
