Sam Biscaro had five aces as part of a huge service run in the second set of Santa Barbara High’s 25-18, 25-12, 25-14 sweep at Buena Thursday.
Blake Williams, Biscaro’s backup at setter, came in a doled out 15 assists with two kills, and ace and a block. Roman Tartler added six kills and a block while Alex Biedul played a strong match on the right side, according to coach Chad Arneson.
Star middle blocker Chris Pratt, who went down with an ankle injury Tuesday at Ventura, is doing better than expected and could possibly return for Thursday’s match against Dos Pueblos.
Santa Barbara is now 16-4 overall and 6-0 in the Channel League.
