The Santa Barbara swim team took it to San Marcos on Tuesday, nailing down wins of 144-41 on the boys side and 122-63 on the girls side.
Karl Boscacci, Chris Dall and Mark Davis were multiple event winners for the boys while Lolo Blair, Lindsay Parrish, Samantha King and Camille Wissman did the same for the girls.
The Dons swept the diving competition. Freshman Aiden McCarter’s 167.9 was best for the boys and junior Montana Marshall won with a 174.2.
San Marcos’ Emilia Wakamatsu swam to two individual second-place finishes for the Royals in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly. So did Jade Wentz-Fitzgerald, who was second-best in the 50 anf 100 freestyle.
Santa Barbara and San Marcos both return to the pool on Friday for Channel League meets. The Royals host Dos Pueblos while the Dons travel to Buena.
