The Dos Pueblos boys golf team lost to Buena on Tuesday afternoon at Olivas Links in Oxnard, 390-405.
Head coach Rob Schiff said that neither team played great, despite the Chargers motivation to win the match.
“We really needed to come out and try to scramble to reach the playoffs,” Schiff said. “It would have been really nice to win.”
Freshman Carson Curtis finished the match with an impressive score of 74.
“He has shot consistent all year,” Schiff said.
The Chargers’ record now stands at 7-4, 2-4.
