Cody Zoesch put away 13 kills on 17 swings for Dos Pueblos on Senior Night at Sovine Gym, leading the Chargers to a 25-16, 25-16, 25-17 sweep of visiting San Marcos.
Brian Schoneberger put away six of his nine sets and tallied four blocks while Jordon Dyer had six kills, four digs and a pair of aces. Joe Lemons came in at middle blocker and put away two kills to complement five digs.
Coach Chris Hughes said that senior captain Tim Baxter did a great job running the offense.
“Baxter set the ball great. As a senior, he really ran the show tonight, there’s no doubt about that,” said Hughes.
The Chargers (15-6, 6-1 Channel League) play at Oaks Christian Monday before Tuesday’s match at Santa Barbara.
