Dalton Bowles blasted his drive to the green on the 315-yard 18th hole at Elkins Ranch Golf Course on Thursday, then dropped the putt for eagle to cap a round of 78, good enough to keep the Carpinteria golfer’s CIF individual hopes alive.
The Warriors, meanwhile, shot a 463 to finish fifth in the 6-team Tri-Valley League match, the fourth of the season.
“We continue to hold a firm grip on fifth place in the TVL,” said coach John Ward.
