Alemany nipped Dos Pueblos 5-4 on Thursday in the San Luis Obispo Tournament, coming from behind to take the semifinal matchup.
The Chargers took a 4-1 lead in the top half of the third on a Robert Vickers two-RBI single and an RBI triple from Michael Spiritosanto.
Vickers now has 11 RBIs and has scored four runs in three tournament games with the third-place game still to play on Friday against San Ramon Valley. Spiritosanto went 2-for-3 on the day.
But Alemany came back with two in the bottom half of the third and two more in the fourth to chase DP starter Kyle McGaughey.
The Chargers failed to manufacture any runs in the final four frames and lost out by the one-run margin.
