The doubles teams of Sean Simpson-Eric Katz and Taylor Howard-George Turvey won sets in tiebreakers as the Dos Pueblos boys team took down Buena 15-3 on Thursday. It is the third consecutive 15-3 margin for the Chargers.
Coach Liz Frech used 16 players on the day, and said that the score doesn’t indicate how touching some of the sets were. A chant ended up pushing the Simpson-Katz match in DP’s favor.
“Team camaderie and the mantra ‘Sean is gnar gnar’ inspired everyone to play well today,” said Frech.
DP plays at Thacher on Monday.
