The Santa Barbara Breakers have announced that a tryout camp will be conducted for anyone 18 years or older on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Carpinteria High School. The tryout will be held from 10 a.m.-Noon and 1-2 p.m.
The Breakers coaching staff will evaluate each player’s skill level of individual and team play. A minimum of two players will be selected to advance to the Breakers Training Camp in mid-April with the possibility of suiting up for Opening Night, Saturday, April 25, 2009.
The tryout sessions will also be shown on the “Breakers Basketball” weekly TV show, Channel 17. Players will receive an evaluation report, Breakers Training Camp T-Shirt and a free ticket to opening night if they are not selected for the Breakers 2009 team roster.
