Sophomore Jordan Roberts went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate Wednesday as the Dos Pueblos softball team picked up a 4-inning mercy-rule win at Bishop Diego, 16-1.
Mallory Meyer went 1-for-3 with a run on her 16th birthday, and Krista Martony added a pair of hits. Paige Sleep belted a solo homer in the first for Bishop Diego’s only run.
Every DP (2-1) player scored in the game.
“We’re coming together well at this point,” said first-year Chargers coach Donn Roberts. Next up for DP is a tough opponent in Cabrillo.
