Carpinteria’s Andrew McDonough ran and leaped his way to two second-place finishes at Saturday’s Rincon Races, leading the Warriors at their home meet.
McDonough finished the 400 meter boys event in 55.44 seconds. He also cleared 36 feet and 9 inches in the triple jump.
Lauren Colomy and Amanda Burch also had high results in two events.
Colomy posted two fourths, one coming in the 100-meter dash (13.7) and the other in the 200 meter (29.36).
Burch’s top-two disciplines were long jump (12’11”) and triple jump (30’8”).
