Julian Harake had 10 kills with three blocks and four digs while Freddy Williamson had six kills, three digs and three aces for the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team in Friday’s 25-16, 25-15, 28-26 sweep of visiting Nordhoff.
The Owls are 4-3 overall with a perfect 4-0 mark in the newly re-aligned Condor League.
Setter Mitch Landers dished out 16 assists for Laguna, which is awaiting the return of standout middle blocker Max Johnston after the two-week spring break that lies ahead.
“With Max in the lineup, I think we could even give a team like Bishop a run,” said coach Bobby Sanchez, who used to coach the Cardinals.
