After a strong start, the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team went flat and lost to Hueneme in a nonleague match Thursday night in Oxnard. The game scores were 17-25, 25-20, 25-10, 25-21.
“We just couldn’t get the momentum back.” Laguna coach Bobby Sanchez said. “We made too many mental mistakes.”
Julian Harake paced the Owls (3-3) with nine kills, three blocks and five digs. Setter Spencer Dousabout had 18 assists and two service aces.
