Spencer Dusabout stepped in at setter for ill senior Mitch Landers and dished out 23 assists to lead the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-20, 25-12 win over Ojai Valley School Friday.
“He’s played outside hitter, setter and opposite. He’s been very useful so far,” said coach Bobby Sanchez.
Julian Harake had eight kills with three blocks and six digs for the Owls (2-2), and Parker Lilly had five kills with four blocks and three digs in the middle.
Laguna plays Hueneme on Tuesday.
