Santa Barbara delivered a double victory in its non-league dual meet against Harvard-Westlake Friday afternoon, with the girls recording a lopsided finish of 112-57 and the boys squeaking by 88.5-80.5.
Lolo Blair and Lindsay Parrish carried the Dons to victory after finishing first in all of their events with CIF qualifying times. Blair dominated the 200-freestyle and 100-backstroke while Parrish finished first in the 50-freestyle and 100-butterfly.
Both girls also helped bring home the 200-medley and 200-freestyle relays. Camille Wissman also contributed to the Dons win after placing first in the 500-freestyle, second in the 200-IM and contributing to the 200 and 400-freestyle first-place finishes.
Not to be outdone by the girls, the boys recorded several first-place finishes as well. Karl Boscacci won the 200 and 500-freestyle in CIF qualifying times. Hunter Ploch also grabbed first place in the 50-freestyle and 100-breast stroke, while Jeff Churchman won the 100-backstroke in a CIF qualifying time and Ian Gamble took the 100-free. Chris Dall placed third in the 100 and 200-freestyle. Ploch, Dall and Gamble were also on the winning 200-freestyle relay team.
The Dons will face Ventura at home next Thursday.
