The Dos Pueblos boys volleyball team kept its unblemished record intact on Wednesday night, shaking off Oxnard 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.
Evan Hamilton posted a team-high six kills to go along with 4 digs. Brian Schoenberger added five kills and four digs and a block. Jay Larinan also made his presence felt by pounding four kills, recording two digs and a block and ace.
“It was an all-around team effort,” described DP head coach Chris Hughes, now 4-0 on the season heading into this weekend’s Best of the West Tournament in San Diego.
The Chargers open up against Loyola, the No. 2 team in CIF Division I.
“I’m excited to see how we match up (against the top-caliber teams),” said Hughes.
