Peter Shao and Mitch Hansen won long sets against Oxnard’s Joe Nguyen, but it was a fairly uneventful opener for the Dos Pueblos boys tennis team, which defeated host Oxnard 18-0 on Thursday.
“Everyone played well through the windy, cool conditions,” said DP coach Liz Frech.
