Highly ranked star Julian Arnold did what he had to do for the San Luis Obispo tennis team Monday, sweeping his singles sets as the visiting Tigers defeated Cate 11-7.
The Rams, however, saw Max Sabel, Geoffery Mak and Cam Seo each go 2-1 in singles sets while Wyatt Geiger and Blake Mackall picked up the only doubles set for Cate (2-2). San Luis Obispo improves to 8-3 on the season.Just coming off of spring break, coach Bob Bonning said his Rams are just about where he though they’d be at this early point in the season.
Next up is a visit from rival Thacher on Saturday.
