Dalton Bowles took third place overall with a round of 77 as the Carpinteria boy golf team took fifth in the season’s second Tri-Valley League meet, held at Montecito Country Club Thursday.
Erik Price was close behind with an 81 for the Warriors, who shot a cumulative 495 on the day and are fifth overall in the league standings. Oak Park won the meet with a score of 392.
Bowles heads into Spring Break at sixth individually in the league, putting himself in a good spot to have a shot at qualifying for CIF.
