It was a similar story on Tuesday for the Santa Barbara boys and girls swim teams, just not quite the same results in a non-league dual meet with Westlake.
Karl Boscacci and Ian Gamble were two-event winners for the boys side, leading the Dons to a 118-54 team victory. The girls score was a near-identical 116-56 score, but in favor of the Warriors.
Boscacci’s wins in the 200 and 500 free were both posted with CIF qualifying times.
Lolo Blair led the girls with two qualifying times of her own in the 200 free and 100 backstroke, both wins. Camille Wissman also grabbed a CIF qualifying time in the 500 free.
Gamble swept the 50 and 100 free sprints. Jeff Churchman, who posted a first place in the 100 backstroke, was second to Gamble in the 100 free. Hunter Ploch took down the 100 breaststroke and finished third in the 100 free.
Matt Wissman and Samantha King both tallied two seconds each.
The Dons now have a long layoff before returning to competition on April 14 against San Marcos.
