The Santa Barbara Soccer Club Girls’ U13 White team completed its amazing run in the Southern California State Cup Tournament Sunday at the Lancaster National Soccer Center. They finished in the “Final Four” teams after winning their quarterfinal match against the Rebels Soccer Club in penalty kicks.
They came up a little short in the semi-final, losing the match to the Simi Valley Eclipse Soccer Club 1-0. With 104 teams entering the tournament, the SB Girls U13 White team outscored their opponents 31 to 2 goals over the 8-game span.
The team is coached by Marco Medina. Players are: Kylie Augerot, Jamie Benedetto, Hannah Brisby, Libby Brymer, Ashley Carney, Annie deBruynkops, Hannah Harrah, Emma Jones, Kayla Klopstein, Emily Kooyman, Annelise Morando, Clarissa Ramirez, Tiffany Siegel, Pauline Simes, Mari Solis and Emma Trumbull.
