Laguna Blanca’s playoff chances will now be decided in the season finale after the Owls lost a 2-1 decision to visiting Dunn Wednesday.
Laguna plays at Dunn again on Friday, needing a tie or better to advance to the postseason.
The Earwigs scored off of a corner kick 20 minutes into the first half and then struck again 20 minutes into the second.
Laguna’s Ryan Richardson got one back off of a late penalty kick, but the Owls couldn’t find an equalizer in time.
