Alex Hill had five goals to lead the top-ranked Dos Pueblos girls water polo team to a 19-6 rout at Buena Tuesday, but the Chargers have another Hill to worry about.
Star goalie Sami Hill suffered a hand injury in practice Monday that coach Danelle Little said was potentially serious. The Chargers will try to use her in big games only, according to the coach, and will have to see whether or not she needs a cast.
On a comforting note, Nicole Morelos had five blocks in the cage and Tiera Schroeder had a pair as well. Little said that both are very capable backups.
Morelos also had three goals in the field for the Chargers, who improved to 19-2 overall and 7-0 in the Channel League.
