The Cate boys varsity basketball team suffered another tough loss Thursday night, falling 67-56 to the Thacher Toads.
Although the Rams found their rhythm in the last minutes of the game, they were never able to close the gap once the Toads dominated the first quarter with a 21-9 lead.
Vladimir Vilsaint tallied 18 points overall, while Max Sabel scored most of his 11 points in the fourth quarter.
Head coach Bryan Rodriguez said he’s enjoyed seeing his team progress throughout the season.
“We have a very inexperienced and young team that continues to be dedicated to improve as a team every single day,” Head coach Rodriguez said.
