SBCC surrendered double-digit hits for the third straight game on Tuesday in a 10-2 softball loss at College of the Canyons.
Melissa Herndon tossed a four-hitter for the Cougars (6-4, 4-1 WSC), who had 14 hits. Freshman Kellee Venturi went 2-3 with an RBI and stolen base for the Vaqueros (1-6, 1-1), who’ve lost their last three games.
Santa Barbara travels to Glendale on Thursday and L.A. Mission on Saturday.
