The Cate boys soccer team had a very productive 10 minutes against Laguna Blanca on Saturday, scoring three times in a short time in the second half of a 3-1 Condor League win at Laguna Blanca.
Ryan Richardson gave the Owls a 1-0 lead in the first half off a Jeremy Stone assist. Laguna head coach Kevin Shertzer said it could have been more if not for the stellar play from Cate’s keeper Nick Bern.
“Can’t wait till their keeper graduates!” said Shertzer, whose Owls (2-1-2) suffered their first loss of the season.
