The Condor League consists of smaller schools than the Tri-Valley League, but the Laguna Blanca girls soccer team improved to 4-0 against TVL opponents in Friday’s 2-0 home win over Villanova.
Freshman forward Becca Braly scored off of a rebound in the fifth minute and Lauren McAllister scored off of a nice give-and-go from Erin Stone and Mckenzie Scarborough about 25 minutes into the second half.
“We dominated them in the second half, so I was very pleased with that,” said coach Greg Luna. “They were really well coached, but we were the better team.”
The Owls, now 7-2, play a rivalry game against Cate to open league play on Friday.
“We’re working really hard to do well in league. It’s up for grabs right now,” said Luna.
