Courtney Houston went 3-for-3 from long range en route to 13 points and five steals as the Bishop Diego girls basketball team cruised by Laguna Blanca 57-20 on Tuesday.
The Cardinals, 9-5, scored 27 points in the second quarter and had 28 steals in the game, led by seven from Dealise Spence. Essence Thornhill also made some big steals and dished out some nice assists in the fourth quarter, according to coach Jeff Burich.
Things will get a little tougher for the Cardinals on Tuesday, when they host league-favorite Santa Clara at the Brickhouse at 7 p.m.
