Connor Dorais took fourth place in the highly competitive 160-pound division to lead Dos Pueblos at the Battle of the Belt wrestling tourney in Temecula Valley Saturday.
Nick Wagner, at 240-pounder, wrestled to seventh place against some considerably larger opponents in the heavyweight class.
“This was definitely a good preparation for the postseason and the CIF Masters meet, which is also in Temecula in the same gym,” said coach Anthony Califano.
Raul Yescas lost 6-5 in the first round of the consolation bracket on Saturday.
