Laguna Blanca’s Chris Bremner made it happen for the Owls soccer team on Wednesday, taking responsibility for both goals in a 2-0 Condor League winner over Thacher.
Laguna improves to 2-0-2 on the season.
Laguna’s first goal came in the first half when Troy Ritter found Sean Burke on an open flank. Burke centered the ball and connected with Bremner, who one-touched it past a diving keeper.
The Owls had several more good scoring opportunities before the half ended, but didn’t capitalize again until the seventh minute of the second half, when Ryan Richardson’s corner kick found Bremner, who put it away in the upper-right corner of the net.
