The Bishop Diego girls basketball team refused to let Grace Brethren score in the first and third qaurters on Tuesday, making for an easy 51-17 victory at the Brickhouse to open up the Frontier League.
Jennifer Jimenez posted a game-high 13 points, and did so all in the first half. The senior captain also recorded seven steals.
Janelle Kohler pulled down eight rebounds and had eight points for the 7-5 Cardinals.
Bishop’s next contest is a non-league game at Viewpoint on Thursday.
