Marina Plesons and Sarah Krashefski gave the Dos Pueblos girls soccer team plenty of firepower in a 3-0 victory over Fillmore on Friday, but then the Charger offense went silent in a 8-0 trouncing by Agoura at the Newbury Park Tournament.
Against Fillmore, platooning goalkeepers Nicole Eisenbeisz and Meagan Bellefeuille combined on the clean sheet.
Dos Pueblos head coach Kymberly Williams-Evans highlighted the play Amber Altavilla and Krashefski, both of whom were moved up from the junior varsity, as being a major boost on the day.
Ally Hernandez also received praise for her adaptibility, playing three different positions in the two games.
Tournament play continues today before wrapping up on Monday.
