Star sophomore Kiley Nueshul is out for five weeks with a broken hand, so it’s time for the rest of the Dos Pueblos girls water polo team to step up and fill the gap.
The Chargers did just that on Tuesday, as Laurel Kistler and Kodi Hill each had three steals in an 11-3 victory over Ventura to kick the Channel League season off in fine fashion.
Alex Hill scored three goals for Chargers, while Tiera Schroeder and Amanda Redfern added two apiece. Sami Hill tallied 12 saves in the cage.
