Alex Hill had “the game of her life” according to Dos Pueblos girls water polo coach Danelle Little, as the Chargers defeated Montebello 8-6 on Friday night behind four goals and four steals from Hill.
Cody Hill had two assists, three steals and drew two kick-outs.
On Saturday morning, the Chargers continued play in the Santa Margarita Extravaganza, taking down Long Beach Wilson 8-4.Tiera Schroeder, Cody Hill and Jessica Morelos each scored a pair of goals in that game, while Sami Hill had 12 blocks, three steals and two assists in the cage.
Little said that the team’s defense in the first half against Montebello was particularly strong, and that the DP counterattack was on target against Wilson.
The Chargers (5-1) play Coronado on December 29th.
