The Dos Pueblos girls soccer team busted out in a big way on Tuesday at Hueneme, scoring 11 times after going three-straight matches without a single goal in an 11-1 victory.
The Gee sisters, senior Nicole and junior Michelle, did most of the damage. Michelle recorded a healthy tally of five goals and Nicole added three more. Karina Evans, Erin Ristig and Allyson Hernandez all put in one each.
“We’ve played better before, but we weren’t getting goals in,” explained DP head coach Kymberly Williams-Evans, whose Chargers got their first win and are 1-5 on the season.
