The Santa Barbara girls basketball team tucked away two more victories on Friday, knocking off Lompoc and Righetti at the Righetti Tournament to improve to 12-2 on the season.
Jessica Ramirez recorded a career-high 14 points in a 59-39 win over Lompoc before Rebecca Griffin poured in 19 points in a 66-39 rout over the hosts.
Griffin tallied 33 points in the two games, and while Ramirez stepped up in the first game, it was Tessa Emerson – with 13 points – against Righetti.
Brandi Blackwell also made her presence felt with 23 rebounds in two games. Blackwell also dished out five assists against the Warriors. Michelle Crispin-Ibarra crashed the board against Righetti, grabbing nine rebounds.
For their efforts, the Dons will face Pioneer Valley at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
