Santa Barbara High water polo and swimming coach Mark Walsh has sent a lot of athletes to top universities in over a decade with the Dons, and this year is certainly no exception.
Boys water polo stars Ian Gamble and Hunter Ploch signed their letters of intent to play for Stanford last week, while girls swimmers Lindsay Parrish and Lolo Blair signed on to swim for the University of Southern California.
Parrish set the Santa Barbara High record in the 100 butterfly with a mark of 54.73, which is also a Channe League record. Blair holds the school record in the 100 backstroke at 58.66. Gamble was a top offensive player for the league-champion Dons this season and Ploch was stellar in the cage at goalie.
