It was an exciting day for the Dos Pueblos athletic community on Wednesday as four Charger seniors signed their national letters of intent to continue their respective sports in college next year.
Robert Vickers is headed to Cal State Northridge, where he will play shortstop on the Matador baseball team. Caitlin Racich will continue her volleyball career at Pepperdine, and Rayanne Nguyen will swim butterfly for the Fresno State Bulldogs. Drew Casier will also hit the pool, swimming for the Anteaters of UC Irvine.
The school’s old theater was full of supporters at the lunchtime ceremony, which fellow students as well as parents and coaches attended.
