Emily Rottman and Eve Ettinger put away 11 kills apiece Thursday as the Santa Barbara High girls volleyball team swept past Estancia 25-10, 25-19, 25-14. The Dons will travel to Valencia on Saturday for a 7 p.m. matchup that assistant coach Lee Carlander eloquently said will be played in a “raucous, partisan environment.”
The victor of Satruday’s match will play the winner of Marymount at Arroyo Grande.
“We’re looking good right now,” said Carlander. “It think we looked better last night than we have in awhile.”
Setter Natalie Guerra dished out 44 assists and also posted an impressive 14 digs in the match.
